That outfit is fantastic! :)
What Fairyland did was stupid and wrong, I do not condone it one bit and I am very disappointed with their actions. However anyone who claims that the recasters are some how “better” because they at least “credit the original artists” can go and fuck themselves. Seriously what the fuck? What is…
Laughing at Fairyland right now and their hypocrisy. Way to steal not one, but two separate designs. Let’s see how many people, amongst them surely some anti-recasters, come rushing to justify what they’ve done. Recasting them isn’t right either, but that doesn’t give them the right to do this. Any previous interest in FL is gone now.

I personally don’t think you’re going to find any anti-recaster who is going to come running to justify this, tbh. Don’t use a bad thing that a company has done to get a dig in at anti-recasters; most of us are probably going to agree with you.
After all, the hypocrisy isn’t in being an anti-recast person, here. Just because a company is (or was) loved by many anti-recasters, does not mean an anti-recaster will condone a company stealing an idea, no matter how much we may love its products. The lack or morale and hypocrisy is in Fairyland’s ‘creative’ team for doing such, not in the companies fans, nor us, the anti-recasters. We’ve done nothing wrong, so take your mud slinging elsewhere.
(If you’re so bitter about Fairyland, now would be a pretty opportune time to bring it up, instead of furthering such an immature agenda as this one.)
Good job Fairyland Part 2! The whaling hook-looking device (apparently a Vertical Ascension Device, probably not unlike the hooks in Bioshock Infinite) was also stolen from a design made over 2 years ago! This one was harder to find as the artist himself did not step forward. The artist is unknown but the website makes it clear that this design was made more than 2 years ago. Please signal boost this so we can find the artist. It’s likely that the artist’s name is M. Hartley (it’s common for artists to put their name in their art in a way that works like that) but so far I’ve not found anything useful.

The artist’s name MAY be Brian Pape, however I’m not sure if this is a website like photobucket or like deviantart: http://digital-art-gallery.com/picture/11062

Update: The gun is from 2011.
By Brian Pape, his self description says, “A dedicated 3D artist for over 15 years, and a Sony employee for over 10. The love for my craft pushes my quality. I am an Emergency Medical Technician for our Studio. I am also directly responsible for bringing in local students for contract positions.”
I’ve been voicing my thoughts, along with all the others on the FB group where this is posted and i have to say i’m so disappointed and disheartened by this. I had plans to buy their new Feeple60 full set Rin, the one pictured above, but i saw this post an hour before i went through with it and i am so thankful that i did.
For a company who posts about supporting the artists and not buying copies/bootlegs of their dolls, and then to see them go and do something like this just makes me so sick.
I’ll finish my DDE layaway for my Lishe, but i think she’ll be the last FL doll i buy unless they come back with some form of apology and action to make it right.
The same. :(
If FL wants to stick up for artist’s rights then they need to set a better example.

I am so disappointed :(
While directly recasting something and rescultping something by looking at it are two different things, both violate the integrity of an artist’s original design. I have to say, I’m pretty disappointed. It’s not that hard to come up with an original weapon design.
I feel the same way.
Andrej Pejic Comes Out as Trans Woman, Now Andreja
"I think we all evolve as we get older and that’s normal but I like to think that my recent transition hasn’t made me into a different individual. Same person, no difference at all just a different sex."
I had often had a feeling. I’m so happy for her — beauty or no, it takes courage to be yourself. Good for her!
